Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas popularly known by the name Ashanti was born on the 13th of October 1981 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and actor. Ashanti began her professional career as young teenagers, and she was ultimately signed to Murder Inc. Records by 2002. She appeared in fat Joe's What's Luv? song that the same year. song and Ja Rule's Always on Time track. Both have become huge hit songs. Her songs Foolish (number number one) and What's Luv! at number two. We will be celebrating the birthday of her favorite actress. Ashanti Shequoiya Douglas, better called Ashanti, was born on October 13 1988 on the 13th of October, 1980 in Glen Cove New York. Tina Douglas, her mother was a former dance teacher. Ken-Kaide Douglas is her father. She is the oldest and Kenashia Shia Douglas is her younger sister. Douglas has named Ashanti Shia Douglas after the Ashanti Empire of Ghana, where women were influential and powerful. Douglas hoped Ashanti would be a model for the future. In her debut song Foolish The song is a cover of DeBarge's Me that was recorded in 1983 is sampled. The first album of her own, made available on her album Murder Inc. in 2002 was Ashanti. The Declaration is Ashanti's forth studio album. The album was made available by Murder Inc. on the 3rd of June, 2008. The 16th of October Hey Baby (After the Club) came out to radio and digital outlets. She played Latasha as Latasha in Army Wives and starred in the movie Christmas in the City. The song she sang Rock wit U was sampled by British singer Aitch for his track Baby in March 10, 2022.
